Mixing up numbers
Reading through the latest edition of My Merton(the Council bi-monthly magazine) I came across the Tory Leader David Williams column, reading it brought a smile to my face as it seems that he is getting his budget numbers mixed up by claiming we will pass the budget for 08/09 in March instead of 07/08. If he cannot get this simple fact of the years right how on earth will he get the budget right!

You make the assumption of course that the mistake was that of Councillor Williams - ignoring the possibility that it was a mistake by the printers or by the editor who, surely, must take responsibility for proof reading the magazine. But, of course, you jump to the conclusion which suits your juvenile attitude to political point scoring.
Someone clearly has had a humour by-pass operation!
