Chilling out!

First weekend without any campaign activities for ages, glad that I have the time to relax. Dissapointed at us losing control of Merton but compared to results eleswhere it was a pretty good performance given the circumstances and we had no wipeout. Indeed in my constituency of Mitcham and Morden we won 27 out of 30 seats and this is a seat that had a Tory MP tilll 1997.

Next week it will be time to get back into the swing of things though thankfully between now and the Council AGM on 24th May it is a relatively quiet time.

I think you've got your maths wrong.

Lower Morden Ward and Abbey Ward are both in Mitcham and Morden constituency - and they have 3 conservative councillors a piece.

Plus, parts of Cannon Hill Ward and Wimbledon Park are also in Mitcham and Morden Constituency as well..... and they each have three tory councillors as well!!

This refers to wards that are predominately in Mitcham and Morden. Indeed part of the Lavender Fields and Colliers Wood wards are in Wimbledon(so I could state we have some representation in Wimbledon), likewise part of Trinity is in Mitcham and Morden. They are only a small parts of the electorate. The part of Wimbeldon Park in Mitcham and Morden has no electorate, this is also the same for Abbey Ward. Lower Morden I included.
